Through the years, MetriTech has developed a long and varied list of clients. What began in 1982 as a regional company has evolved into a company with customers around the globe. Serving local and statewide school districts, multi-state consortiums, and customers around the world, MetriTech is deeply committed to serving each and every client as if they were our only client. MetriTech’s staff goes above and beyond for all of our clients, striving for perfection in everything we do.
In 2004, MetriTech began serving the WIDA Consortium, which, at its inception, included 4 states and served 75,000 English Language Learners. Over the next 12 years, we helped the Consortium grow to 36 member states. By 2015, MetriTech was working with the Consortium to print, pack, and score assessments, ultimately providing reports on 1.6 million students in over 6,400 districts and 37,000 schools. We adapted to each increase with flexibility and agility while maintaining our commitment to provide error-free materials and superior customer service to each WIDA state and to our ELL assessment clients outside the Consortium, including California and New York State. MetriTech currently works with New York State in developing the NYSESLAT, a statewide assessment of the State’s English Language Learner/Multilingual Learner population. Approximately 275,000 students across the state of New York are assessed through the NYSESLAT each year. The NYSESLAT is always evolving to better suit its purpose, and MetriTech works closely with the New York State Education Department to produce a test that is constantly improving while accurately reflecting the level of English acquisition reached by each student.
In addition to serving the English Language Learner population, MetriTech has worked with clients at the district and state level, creating and delivering ELA, math, science, and writing items; high stakes assessment; and development programs for students in pre-kindergarten through high school and beyond.
